Recently, we launched our newest style, the Soft Penny Loafer. In today’s blog post, we will clarify the similarities and differences of our loafers so you can choose the shoe that best fits your needs and style!

First, what do the two styles have in common?

Both feature an almond toe shape and 0.8” (20mm) stacked heel. As always with all ALLY Shoes, you can expect to find the highest quality of material and comfort with our patented insole for premium metatarsal and arch support in both styles. The City and Penny Loafers are both available in 4 width and all microsizes (full and half sizes) from an EU 33-45 (US Women’s 4-12). That’s a total of 80 sizes!

What are the differences?

The most obvious difference in our two loafer offerings are the materials used. The City Loafer is made of a smooth and sleek calfskin leather, while the Penny Loafer is made of a buttery-soft lambskin suede. The next difference is in the straps. The City Loafer has an adjustable buckle strap, while the Penny Loafer has a saddle slot strap. The shoes are also different in terms of structure. The City Loafer is more structured, meaning less flexibility. The Penny Loafer is our softest design yet, made to hug your foot and move with you throughout the day. While all of our styles are designed with all-day comfort in mind, the Penny Loafer offers the most flexibility, and may be best for longer days with lots of walking, standing, or other activity. The final difference between our loafers is the color ranges they are available in. The City Loafer comes in black, chocolate brown, caramel, ecru, and ecru/brown mix calfskin leathers. The Penny Loafer has a reduced range, coming in black, noble navy, and moxie mocha lambskin suedes.

In Conclusion

Now that you know the similarities and differences in our loafer styles, we hope you can find the style that best fits your lifestyle!
