Earlier this year we debuted our highly anticipated Bridal Collection and in honor of this launch we are excited to launch our real bride series. This series will highlight real brides who will be sharing their proposal stories, what inspires them, their personal style and much more. First up, New York bride-to-be, Bria Langer!
ALLY: Tell us a little bit about you?
Bria: I live in Brooklyn and I am a Retail Professional by day. I moved here almost 10 years ago to get my Masters in Opera and pursue performing, and along the way, I met my fiancé through work.
ALLY: Tell us about your proposal?
Bria: It happened in fall of 2018 at the Brooklyn Bridge. My fiancé and I have been together for almost 4 years - he apparently tried to propose to me 3 times but couldn’t find the perfect ring. After we got engaged, we had a surprise photo shoot and went all over Brooklyn taking photos. We ended the evening at the William Vale where he surprised me with all of my friends at the rooftop bar!
ALLY: Tell us about your personal style.
Bria: Trends come and go, but jeans, a tee, and a great shoe are my jam.
ALLY: What inspires you?
Bria: I’m inspired by passionate people doing what they love to do whether that’s singing, acting, cooking, etc. I’ve always been very inspired by Lady Gaga - she can do anything!
ALLY: What do you feel most comfortable in?
Bria: A great high-waisted pair of jeans with a tee and fancy sneaks or a great heel. I’m also a sucker for a jumpsuit.
ALLY: Tell us about the allies with you on your wedding day.
Bria: We are getting married at the Maison May in Brooklyn. The ceremony is family only, so we don’t have a traditional “wedding party”. My mom, sister, and 6-year-old niece will be there along with Tim’s mom and sister. (I managed to sneak in my best friend Marcos for the ceremony as well!)
