ALLY Shoes: Tell us about yourself?
Kate Giesing: I am a pediatric nurse who was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. I spend my free time with my friends, family, husband and aussiedoodle, Roo. We love spending time outside and are looking forward to building our home this year!
ALLY Shoes: How did you meet your husband?
Kate Giesing: I met my husband, Ryan, at our church building. His friends always joked that his future wife wouldn't just walk through the door; he needed to go out and find her. Turns out they were wrong in the best way possible!
ALLY Shoes: What was your favorite part of the wedding planning process?
Kate Giesing: My favorite part of planning was organizing the timeline. It was the part of wedding planning that actually made the picture whole and gave me the butterflies.
ALLY Shoes: Your top 3 tips for any bride.
Kate Giesing: My top tips are probably cliche but here they are.
- Enjoy every moment of the engagement. It only happens once in your life and you want to remember the big planning process. It gives you lots of insight into how you and your partner will make decisions in the future. Take your time and make it a beneficial growing process.
- Everyone will have their opinions, but it's your wedding day. Whatever makes you and your fiance happy, do that. Figure out what you both care most about and assign the rest to those who desire to be a big part of your day.
- At the end of the day, it is the covenant that you are making between each other that matters the most.
ALLY Shoes: Team DJ or Team Band?
Kate Giesing: Team DJ! Ours was amazing and I loved the variety.
ALLY Shoes: Who is your ally?
Kate Giesing: My ally is my husband. He is my rock and always has my best interests in mind.
Kate's ALLY Shoes Bridal Pick was the ALLY Shoes: Lady Lace / White Leather Combo Pump.
